Born 1971. Founded Transit General Office Inc., in 2001 after building a career at Isetan. Transit General Office’s concept is to “Create fine spaces with contents of fashion, art, design, music, and foods and beverages.”
The unique and fashionable ideas presented by Transit have won the company high recognition in Japan and abroad.
In addition to its cafe restaurant and catering business, the company entered the hotel business through the planning and operation of hotel “CLASKA” in 2003. 2006, Transit provided branding production of the “Dojima Hotel” and achieved entry into the U.S. market in 2007 through the “Tokyo Bar” cafe in New York.
Transit’s business scope extends to a variety of other areas such as residences, offices, fashion e-Commerce sites and branding production.
Recently, the company established group companies such as “TRANSIT CREW” dedicated to catering & event sweets, ad agency “JET AGENCY”, staff agency “Departure & Partners”, and real estate company, “REAL GATE.” The company continues its active business in its pursuit of becoming a comprehensive creator of fine spaces for people’s enjoyment.

Soshin Kimura Soshin Kimura

Birth name: Shintaro. Born 1976 in Uwajima, Ehime. Graduate of Kobe University.
Started studying the Urasenke Tradition of Tea from his childhood and founded the Hoshinkai in 1997.
While hosting tea classes in Kyoto and Tokyo, Kimura also writes articles based on tea ceremonies and provides supervision and coordination of magazines, TV programs, and exhibitions related to tea.
He has also worked with many domestic and international architects, designers and creators including “Qu-An” at the 2005 Milano Salone and the “TEEHAUS” exhibition at the Frankfurt Museum of Decorative Arts.
2008, Kimura was honored by Japanese Association of Museums. 2011, “KASAAN”, a tea room supervised by Kimura won the JCD Product of the Year Grand Prix as well as Gold in the JCD Design Award.

Author of multiple titles including “Rikyu Nyumon” (Shinchosha), “Cha no Yu Design”, and “Sen Rikyu no Kozai” (both by Hankyu Communications.)”

Born 1975 in Tokyo. Worked at Jun Aoki & Associates from 1998 to 2002. Established Yuko Nagayama & Associates in 2002. Main works include, “LOUIS VUITTON Kyoto Daimaru Branch”, “a hill on a house”, “ANTEPRIMA Singapore ION”, “Kabaya Coffee”, and “SISII PRESSROOM.” Winner of the LO’real Incentive Award, JCD Design Incentive Award, and the AR Awards (UK) Award for Excellence (2006.) Currently a part-time professor at Kyoto Seika University, Showa Women’s University, Ochanomizu University, and Nagoya Institute of Technology.

Yusuke Iseya Yusuke Iseya

Born 1976, Tokyo. Graduated with a Master of Arts from the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. Iseya made his big screen debut while as a student in 1998 in Hirokazu Koreeda’s “Wonderful Life.” The same year, he studied film briefly at the NYU film school. Main works include, “Kinpatsu no Sogen (Across a Gold Prarie)” (Director Isshin Inudo),
“Distance” (Director Kazuhiro Koreeda), “Gaichu (Harmful Insect)” (Director Akihiko Shioda), “DEAD END RUN” (Director, Sogo Ishii), “Casshern” (Director, Kazuaki Kiriya), “Kiraware Matsuko no Issho (Memories of Matsuko)” (Director, Tetsuya Nakajima), and “Ashita no Joe (Tomorrow’s Joe)” (Director, Fumihiko Sori.) His directorial debut film, “Kakuto” was released in 2003 and officially shown at the 32nd International Film Festival Rotterdam. Iseya also appeared as Takasugi Shinsaku in the NHK Taiga drama, “Ryomaden.” 2008, he launched the environmental “Rebirth Project” based on the concept of “for man’s survival on earth.”
